Job Summary
The ideal candidate should have significant senior management experience within the automotive/passenger vehicle industry, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Assistant General Manager (AGM)to provide strategic leadership across passenger vehicle sales, dealership operations, business development, and revenue growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure effective inventory planning, vehicle sales, and stock management.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Drive continuous improvement across sales and dealership operations.
- Prepare and present management reports, performance analyses, and business reviews.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Provide strategic leadership for passenger vehicle operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, sales plans, and overall business performance.
- Work closely with after-sales, finance, service, and other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
- Lead sales, marketing, and dealership operations.
- Develop and implement business growth, sales, and market expansion strategies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and relevant industry requirements.
- Requirement
- Relevant professional management qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience managing sales teams, business operations, and revenue targets.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Strong background in strategic planning and business development.
- 8–12+ years of experience in the automotive/passenger vehicle industry
- Experience managing key corporate accounts, dealers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Significant senior management experience in automobile sales or dealership operations.
- Bachelor's Degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Chinese automobile brands is an added advantage.
