At MBIS, Associate Teachers are expected tobring existing teaching competence to the roleand will be mentored and supported to adapt to our British curriculum, teaching resources, assessment systems, classroom routines and professional expectations.
Essential
and Qualifications
Applicants should have:
Secure knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly English, Mathematics and Science;
Bachelor’s Degree or PGDE as a minimum qualification with a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant primary classroom teaching experience;
Applicants must be Ibadan-based or able to commute reliably to our school off Jericho, Ibadan. MBIS does not provide staff accommodation or relocation expenses.
Strong spoken and written English;
Good computer literacy; and
Good classroom organisation and behaviour-management skills;
teaching primary-aged pupils;
Qualifications alone will not be sufficient.

Successful Associate Teachers will receive structured support to adapt to the MBIS environment, including orientation to our curriculum, resources and assessment systems, mentoring, classroom observation, professional feedback and opportunities for professional development.
