You’ll support audit engagements by testing controls, verifying records, and helping ensure clients meet regulatory and financial reporting standards.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our finance/audit team in Onipanu, Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
- Check adherence to IFRS, CAMA, FRC, and other relevant regulations
- Prepare working papers, audit reports, and supporting schedules
- Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits for clients
- Draft audit findings and assist senior auditors with final report preparation
- Perform substantive testing, vouching, and analytical procedures on financial records
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Liaise with client finance teams to gather evidence and clarify findings
Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Onipanu/Lagos mainland area.
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA/ACCA in progress is an advantage
- Proficiency in Excel.
Experience
with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP is a plus
2 years audit, accounting, or assurance experience.
Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
N180,000/month.
