Role Summary
We are hiring an experienced Azure AI / Document Intelligence Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will join a major enterprise digital transformation programme, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI technologies to build intelligent, scalable and secure solutions for document classification, extraction, processing and information retrieval.
What You'll Do
Build, train and optimise Azure Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer) models, including prebuilt, custom and composed models.
Continuously improve and retrain models based on performance and business requirements.
Integrate Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Vision (OCR) and Content Understanding.
Collaborate with data, software, solution architecture and business teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
Configure, test and optimise solutions using Document Intelligence Studio.
Build scalable AI-powered document processing solutions suitable for enterprise and financial-services environments.
Implement confidence scoring and monitor model performance and extraction accuracy.
Develop document preprocessing, validation and exception-handling pipelines.
What We're Looking For
Experience
with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Vision (OCR) and Content Understanding.
Good understanding of machine learning lifecycle management, model evaluation and optimisation.
building and deploying scalable AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
Understanding of data security, governance and compliance within enterprise or regulated environments is an advantage.
4–6 years'
in AI/ML Engineering, with practical

Azure Document Intelligence
We are looking for someone with strong hands-on
