Standard Specialist Hospital is a 24-hour secondary services hospital in the heart of Kano State that provides high-quality healthcare services.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Night Shift Records Officer
Location: Tarauni, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Ensure that patients’ files are available to the appropriate departments.
- Process HMO patients in accordance with approved coverage and authorization procedures.
- Retrieve, organize, update, and maintain patients’ medical records.
- Verify payments and ensure that patient bills correspond with services rendered.
- Prepare accurate daily records and assist with statistical reporting.
- Register patients and accurately enter their details into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Ensure that every patient receiving consultation or treatment is properly registered and billed.
- Perform other duties assigned by hospital management.
