Job Title: Medical Doctor

Role Description
The Medical Doctor will also participate in health education and preventive care initiatives, and may support emergency and on-call services as required.
The role involves collaboration with nurses, other physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center, Ilesa.
Day to day responsibilities include managing outpatient and inpatient cases, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting investigations, and documenting care accurately in medical records.
The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting, particularly in primary or secondary care, is an advantage.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Capacity to handle a varied caseload, prioritize tasks, and remain calm and effective in busy or urgent clinical situations.
