Job Summary
We are recruiting a technically competent Building Engineer to oversee building construction activities, coordinate site operations, and ensure that projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise building construction and monitor daily site activities.
- Identify site challenges and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Prepare site reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate contractors, artisans, suppliers, and other project personnel.
- Monitor construction materials, workmanship, and project progress.
- Interpret building plans, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
- Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Building Technology, Building Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in building construction and site supervision.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building specifications.
Ability to read and interpret building drawings.
