Original source description

BridgeHedge Limited is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business and Sales Executive to support the growth of BridgeHedge and its portfolio companies

The successful candidate will be expected to understand each business, identify opportunities, build relationships, generate sales and suggest practical ways to move the companies forward.

We are looking for someone who notices opportunities and acts on them.

What You Will Do

Find New Business Opportunities

Research potential customers, clients, stockists, distributors and business partners.

Identify companies or individuals who may need our products and services.

Find opportunities through LinkedIn, Instagram, email, referrals, events, directories and physical visits.

Research competitors, market trends and changes in customer demand.

Identify new sectors, locations or sales channels the businesses can explore.

Generate and Convert Leads:

Build and maintain a list of qualified leads for each company.

Send personalised emails, proposals and direct messages.

Make sales calls and attend meetings with potential clients.

Follow up consistently until the prospect gives a clear response.

Move interested leads towards meetings, proposals, trials, purchases or partnerships.

Maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.

Keep the sales pipeline updated with every conversation and next action.

Support Sales Across the Portfolio:

For BridgeHedge Limited:

Find organisations that need recruitment, BridgeHR, training, finance, compliance or consulting services.

Speak with business owners, HR managers and decision-makers.

Support proposals, client presentations and service demonstrations.

Follow up prospective clients and move them towards engagement.

For Omenka Industries:

Identify retailers, institutional buyers, distributors and supply opportunities.

Support plans for new retail outlets and market expansion.

Track potential locations, partners and sales opportunities.

Monitor customer needs, competitor activity and gaps in the market.

Support discussions with prospective outlets, vendors and business partners.

For Dekina Beauty:

Identify stockists, retailers, corporate buyers and partnership opportunities.

Support product sales, launches, events and retail expansion.

Research beauty trends, customer needs and competitor activities.

Follow up potential stockists and other sales leads.

Suggest campaigns or partnerships that can increase product sales.

Research potential clients and understand what each brand may need.

Prepare tailored pitches and proposals.

Use past work and case studies to support sales conversations.

Follow up prospects and work towards securing projects or retainers.

Think Beyond Outreach

The Business and Sales Executive must regularly ask:

What is stopping this business from growing?

What are customers asking for?

What are competitors doing better?

Are there new locations, products, partnerships or services we should explore?

Are there gaps in sales, staffing, operations, logistics or customer service?

What practical idea can improve revenue or reduce missed opportunities?

The role requires initiative. Management should not have to provide every idea or next action.

Prepare Proposals and Sales Materials:

Draft proposals, quotations, presentations and introductory messages.

Work with the relevant team members to obtain pricing, operational and financial information.

Ensure every proposal clearly addresses the prospective client’s needs.

Keep approved company profiles, service information and sales materials organised and current.

Track and Report Results:

Update the lead and sales tracker every day.

Record the prospect’s name, contact details, business need, current status and next action.

Submit a short weekly report showing:

New qualified leads added

Meetings secured

Proposals sent

Warm leads and their next steps

Sales or partnerships secured

Competitor or market insights

Problems identified

Recommendations for the following week

Reports must show results and progress, not only the number of emails or messages sent.

Experience

At least three years of

in sales, business development, account management or a similar role.
