Summary
We are seeking highly driven and commercially aggressive Business Development Associates to accelerate growth across our food value chain services, including training, audit, research, and development.
These roles are for relentless deal-closers who use every available channel to originate, pursue, and close business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Identify and act on opportunities to expand revenue streams within existing and new accounts.
- Originate deals through cold calling, cold meetings, referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and convert leads into paying clients.
- Demonstrate sufficient technical understanding to position FHSA as a strategic service partner to clients.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to design solutions and ensure strong service delivery alignment.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals across the food and agribusiness sector.
- Promote and sell FHSA’s services (training, audit, R&D) to corporates (SMES/MSMES/Mid sized food value chain businesses,hospitality,hospitals,schools), SMEs, and government institutions.
- Represent FHSA at industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts.
- Develop compelling proposals, pitch decks, and commercial offers tailored to client needs.
Requirements
Strong business to business
Experience
is required
Strong network within Northern Nigeria.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure.
Demonstrated track record of generating and converting leads into revenue.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
Strong
in proposal writing, cold outreach (calls and meetings), and deal closing.
3–5 years of proven
in business development or sales (preferably in service consulting) within FMCGs,QSRs,FastFoodChains,Hospitality,Schools,Hospitals.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
