We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations and closure of corporate travel management deals.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, forecast, and achieve monthly/quarterly new business targets.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new market opportunities and travel trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, corporate presentations, and SLAs/MOUs.
- Represent the company at travel expos, B2B networking events, chambers of commerce meetings.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
- Work closely with Operations and Ticketing teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (HR, Admin, Finance Managers).Develop new business lines: MICE, Study Abroad, Hajj/Umrah, Tour Packages, Protocol & Logistics services.
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa service providers.
- Collaborate with Marketing to design campaigns for client acquisition and brand visibility.
- Maintain CRM database and provide weekly/monthly business development reports to management.
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, multinationals, NGOs, government agencies, and SMEs for travel account management.
Education
Professional certification in Sales, Business Development, or CIM is an added advantage.
MBA / master’s in marketing or business development is a strong advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations or related field.
Experience
in B2B contract negotiation and corporate onboarding.
Must have an existing network of corporate clients and decision-makers.
Proven track record of acquiring and managing high-value corporate accounts.
Demonstrable
in achieving multi-million Naira revenue targets.
Minimum of 5-8 years proven
in Business Development / Corporate Sales, with at least 3 years in a Travel Agency, Airline, Hospitality, or Service industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of GDS and travel products is an added advantage
Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
Excellent networking, relationship building, and closing skills
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)Self-starter, highly target-driven and resilient
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Strong business development, B2B sales, and consultative selling skills
Knowledge of corporate travel management and travel industry ecosystem
