Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Officer with a strong background in trusteeship and financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by sourcing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and promoting trustee-related products to corporate and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within trusteeship, asset management, and financial services.
- Source and close trustee mandates include trust structures, bonds, and collective investment schemes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, institutional clients, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Establish referral networks with legal firms, financial advisors, and investment institutions.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities within capital markets and structured finance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
2–4 years’ experience in business development within Trusteeship firms, Asset management companies, Pension fund administration or Fund or portfolio administration/custody services.
Proven track record of revenue generation and client acquisition.
Strong understanding of trust structures, capital markets, and financial products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong relationship management and networking abilities.
High level of professionalism and credibility.
Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, ACA, CFA) are an added advantage.
