Job Title: Cash Officer

Job Summary
The role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail in managing the Company's cash-related activities.
The Cash Officer will be responsible for handling daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate records of cash receipts and payments, and ensuring proper reconciliation of cash balances.
Key Responsibilities
- Report suspected errors, irregularities, or discrepancies to the appropriate authority.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Monitor cash balances and ensure adequate funds are available for approved transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with bank deposits and other cash-related banking transactions as assigned.
- Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of cash-related documents.
- Reconcile physical cash balances with records and promptly report any discrepancies.
- Process approved cash payments and ensure all supporting documents are properly maintained.
- Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Verify payment documents, receipts, and supporting vouchers before processing transactions.
- Assist with periodic cash counts and internal audits.
- Receive, count, and verify cash and other payments received at the designated location.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash management procedures.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates with relevant skills may be considered.
- ND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
