Job Summary
We are seeking a smart, honest, and customer-focused Cashier to handle daily sales transactions and provide excellent customer service in the pharmacy.
The ideal candidate must be neat, fast, accurate with money, and passionate about customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in arranging and displaying products neatly on shelves when not attending to customers.
- Issue receipts, operate POS machine, handle cash, transfers, and balance daily sales.
- Ensure the cashier counter and shop environment is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Receive, verify, and properly arrange incoming stock and ensure proper labeling and pricing.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock, expired, or damaged goods to the Pharmacist.
- Attend to customers promptly and process sales transactions accurately.
- Record all sales, expenses, and cash at hand and submit daily sales report.
Requirements
Excellent customer service, communication, and basic computer/POS skills.
SSCE, OND, or NCE qualification. Accounting or business background is an advantage.
Must reside within proximity to the work location.
Must be very honest, fast with calculations, and accurate with cash handling.
Must be neat, polite, honest, and willing to work weekends.
1 year experience as a cashier, sales assistant, or shop attendant (pharmacy or supermarket experience preferred).
Salary: N80,000 - N120,000 monthly.
