Location: New Market Road, Ugep, Cross River State

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly responsible, business-minded, and experienced Cashier / Counter Sales
The ideal candidate must be honest, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of the role with minimal supervision.
Personnel who can effectively manage daily operations, oversee sales activities, monitor stock movement, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Make informed decisions independently and report accordingly
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and resolve workplace issues professionally
- Drive sales and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business
- Supervise cashier, sales admin, and other support staff effectively
- Handle daily sales transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies or leakages
- Support business growth through effective sales and customer retention strategies
- Ensure smooth day-to-day business operations
- Handle customer complaints and pricing concerns professionally
- Prepare and interpret sales reports, including identifying reasons for profit ndecline
Requirements
- Must be honest, trustworthy, and accountable when handling money and products

Experience
in a veterinary, agro-allied, retail, or feed store is an added advantage.
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to identify and report stock shortages or discrepancies
Previous
as a cashier, counter sales personnel, sales attendant, or in a similar retail/store role
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to the job
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
handling cash transactions, POS systems, and daily sales records
Basic knowledge of stock taking and inventory monitoring
Customer service and sales-oriented mindset
Working Schedule:
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Last Saturday of the Month: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
