Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Cashier to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all money, receipts, and payment records are handled securely and confidentially.
- Assist customers with enquiries about prices, products, promotions, and payment options.
- Keep the checkout counter and surrounding area neat, clean, and properly arranged.
- Report cash shortages, overages, payment errors, or suspicious transactions immediately.
- Follow company policies, financial procedures, and customer-service standards at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support stock checks, product arrangement, and basic administrative duties when required.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate daily records of sales, payments, refunds, discounts, and expenses.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and correct change for every transaction.
- Welcome customers warmly and provide courteous, professional service.
- Process cash, card, bank transfer, POS, and other approved payments accurately.
Requirements
Previous
Experience
as a cashier, sales attendant, store assistant, or customer-service representative is an advantage.
Ability to calculate figures accurately and handle cash responsibly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
