We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to provide strategic financial leadership and strengthen the financial performance, governance, and sustainability of our growing healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization\'s overall financial strategy, planning, and performance
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow plans, and financial models
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, and financial analysis
- Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and revenue assurance
- Monitor costs, profitability, cash flow, and financial risks across the organization
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Oversee treasury, payroll, accounts payable, receivables, and financial reconciliations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to Management to support strategic decision-making
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Drive financial efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainable business growth
Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required
8+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, with significant leadership experience
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash-flow management, and financial controls
Experience in the healthcare or service industry is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
Demonstrated ability to work with senior management and translate financial data into business decisions
