Are you an experienced Chief Officer with strong expertise in navigation, DP operations, cargo handling, anchor handling, towing and marine safety?
This is an opportunity to take a key leadership role onboard and ensure safe, efficient and compliant vessel operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise the Deck Department
- Safe navigation and watchkeeping
- Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations
- Cargo, ballast, anchor handling & towing operations
- Vessel stability, seaworthiness & deck operations
- Safety management, risk assessments & emergency preparedness
- Environmental and regulatory compliance
- Crew supervision, training and mentoring
- Maintain accurate vessel logs, reports and documentation
- Support and understudy the Master
- WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Chief Officer / Senior Deck Officer
- Strong navigational and marine operations experience
- Valid STCW and relevant maritime certifications
- Appropriate CoC / Captain's Licence for the vessel
- Experience with relevant vessel types and offshore operations
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
