Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to provide strategic and operational leadership across the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong Telecommunications/ICT industry experience, proven Business Development and commercial leadership skills, knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, and a strong growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Company.
- Drive business growth, revenue generation, and new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong client, partner, and industry relationships.
- Lead business development, tenders, proposals, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee telecommunications and technology-related projects and operations.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and business performance.
- Drive operational efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Monitor business performance and provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including significant senior leadership experience.
Proven experience in the Telecommunications/ICT industry.
Strong Business Development and commercial management experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and drive sustainable business growth.
A growth mindset, innovative approach, and strong business acumen.
Relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
