We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil works, ensuring structural and infrastructural projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
- Prepare and review project estimates, bills of quantities, material requirements, and work schedules.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, structural maintenance, drainage, paving, concrete works, and other civil works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, construction issues, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.
- Provide technical advice on civil and structural maintenance issues.
- Supervise contractors and site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved specifications, drawings, and timelines.
- Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Support the development and implementation of engineering SOPs and maintenance standards.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project costs and support effective budget management.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering works and projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects or tasks.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/project management software.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, property management, or facility management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong project supervision and contractor management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
