We are seeking a professional, confident and results oriented Client Delivery Officer to manage client relationships, ensure excellent service delivery and support the organisation’s business development objectives.
The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients, understand their needs, coordinate service delivery and build relationships that encourage client retention and business growth.
The role also requires an individual who can actively identify and acquire new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and ensure their enquiries, requests and concerns are handled promptly and professionally.
- Understand client needs and coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain regular communication and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement.
- Identify opportunities to generate additional business from existing clients.
- Actively prospect for new clients through referrals, professional networks, direct engagement and other appropriate business development channels.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up consistently to convert prospects into clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, prospects, leads and business opportunities.
- Handle client complaints and service related issues with professionalism, tact and sound judgment.
- Support the organisation in achieving its client acquisition, retention and revenue objectives.
- Prepare periodic reports on client activities, prospects, conversions and business development efforts.
Requirements
OND, HND, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Insurance, Economics, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer facing role.
Strong knowledge and practical understanding of customer relationship management.
Proven experience in client servicing, sales, business development, relationship management or a similar customer focused position.
Candidates with experience in insurance sales, banking sales, relationship management or financial services are particularly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and identify business opportunities.
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Excellent follow up skills with the ability to maintain relationships over time.
Ability to engage confidently with clients and prospective customers.
Commercial awareness and a demonstrated ability to contribute to new client acquisition.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client relationships.
Digital skills and proficiency with relevant digital tools are an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be smart, articulate, customer focused, presentable and commercially minded.
They must be comfortable interacting with clients, building trust, understanding customer needs and converting relationships into business opportunities.
Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, sales, relationship management or other structured customer facing environments will be an advantage.
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
