We are hiring an experienced Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager to lead the organization’s corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, sustainability agenda, reputation management, and policy advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of sustainability and ESG initiatives aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
- Develop stakeholder engagement plans that support the company’s business and sustainability priorities.
- Lead reputation management and crisis communication, ensuring timely and effective responses to emerging issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, NGOs, investors, communities, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of sustainability, ESG, and corporate affairs reports in line with applicable standards and reporting requirements.
- Provide senior management with insights on emerging corporate affairs, sustainability, regulatory, and reputational issues.
- Monitor relevant government policies, regulations, and industry developments and support corporate advocacy initiatives.
- Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy across internal and external channels.
- Lead and mentor the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team, driving performance and professional development.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the FMCG business environment and regulatory landscape.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing corporate communications, stakeholder relations, and reputation management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and crisis-management skills.
- Strong experience in sustainability/ESG programmes, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with government/regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
