The Cost Estimating Lead will provide oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation, quality assurance reviews, project costing, scheduling, and cost-control activities across project milestones.
The role will also support process improvements and provide leadership and consulting to the Estimating Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to improvements in estimating processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.
- Prepare and review project costing reports for management.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions with internal teams and external clients.
- Coordinate with the Project Management Team to resolve project-related issues.
- Support cost estimate preparation, verification, and quality assurance reviews.
- Provide cost control and planning advice to the PMT.
- Skills & Qualifications
- Previous
Experience
in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
Strong project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Previous
in a closely related position and/or cost & schedule estimating.
Strong analytical, consulting, mentoring, and computing skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
