We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Driver
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, properly fueled, and well maintained.
- Use Google Maps/GPS and knowledge of Lagos routes to navigate efficiently and minimize delays.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while planning efficient routes.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of the assigned vehicle.
- Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct routine checks on oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, battery, and other essential vehicle components.
- Assist with official errands, document movement, and other transportation-related assignments when required.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality at all times.
- Safely transport management, staff, guests, and authorized personnel to assigned destinations.
Requirements
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Must be punctual, reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications.
- Good understanding of road safety and defensive driving practices.
- Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid and current Nigerian Driver’s Licence.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Must be neat, well-groomed, courteous, and professional.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Added advantages
- Valid LASDRI Card.
- Knowledge of major Lagos business routes and alternative routes.
- Defensive driving certification.
- Previous experience as a Corporate, Executive, or Management Driver.
