Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and disciplined Driver with excellent knowledge of Lagos routes to provide safe, timely and efficient driving services.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Lagos routes, shortcuts, and alternative roads to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrival.
- Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption reports.
- Safely drive company vehicle/staff to designated destinations within Lagos and environs.
- Promptly report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents to management.
- Ensure vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times.
- Plan routes effectively using knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic patterns.
- Ensure safety of passengers, goods and the vehicle at all times.
- Carry out daily routine checks on vehicle (oil, fuel, tyre pressure, brakes, etc.).
- Run official errands and provide logistical support when required.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Requirements & Skills
- Physically fit with good eyesight.
- Must know Lagos routes very well – both Mainland and Island
- Minimum of SSCE / OND. Valid and current Nigerian Driver’s License is compulsory.
- 3-5 years driving experience in Lagos.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, honesty and integrity.
- Good communication skills and ability to read and write.
- Good knowledge of Lagos traffic regulations and ability to use Google Maps.
- No record of reckless driving or major traffic offence.
- Must reside in Lagos.
