The Driver will operate company vehicles safely and efficiently while transporting goods, staff, documents, and other assigned items.
The role requires excellent knowledge of roads and traffic regulations, good vehicle-handling skills, punctuality, and a strong commitment to maintaining company vehicles and ensuring timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain signatures or proof of delivery where applicable.
- Maintain good communication with the Operations/Supervisor regarding deliveries, delays, and other operational matters.
- Ensure all assigned deliveries and transportation activities are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Safely transport goods, parcels, documents, staff, and other assigned items to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring items are handled safely.
- Plan routes efficiently to avoid unnecessary delays and reduce fuel consumption.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential vehicle components.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure that company vehicles are used only for authorised purposes.

Requirements

Education
