- Leading, mentoring, and developing engineering squads while fostering a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
- Providing technical leadership for identity, authentication, KYC, and related backend systems;
- Driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable and resilient distributed systems;
- Managing team performance, growth, hiring, and development while ensuring the squad has the right skills and support to succeed;
- Monitoring system performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement, and driving continuous technical improvements;
- Contributing to engineering strategy and helping shape the technology roadmap for Identity.
- Ensuring high standards across architecture, code quality, testing, security, reliability, and engineering practices;
- Supporting engineers in solving complex technical challenges and making sound engineering decisions;
- Our Technical Stack
- Our ML pipeline is API-Flask (Python);
- Prototype of a data warehouse on GCP (GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Composer);
- It communicates with Ruby on Rails or Go-lang backends (Sidekiq, RSpec);
- We run our CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions.
- We are hosted on AWS: Kubernetes, SNS, SQS, Lambdas, RDS Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, and Kinesis;
- Our customer-facing product is an Android application;
- Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of
Experience
in software engineering, with
in a backend engineering environment;
designing, building, and operating scalable and reliable production systems;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, testing, CI/CD, and system reliability;
working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with Product and other business functions.
Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills;
2+ years of
managing software engineering teams;
Strong hands-on
with backend development and distributed systems;
with Go, Ruby/Rails, or another backend programming language;
mentoring senior engineers and developing technical leadership within a team.
