Job Summary
We are seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Hotel Porter to join our team. The Hotel Porter is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, and ensuring a welcoming and positive guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from their rooms.
- Support the front desk and other departments as needed.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities and services.
- Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.
- Ensure guest safety and security by following hotel policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms when required.
- Assist with loading and unloading guest belongings from vehicles.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage.
- Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
