Job Title: Account Payable Officer
Location: Victoria Island (VI), Lagos

Job Summary
Consulting DCC is recruiting an Account Payable Officer on behalf of a client located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This role is strictly for candidates who currently reside within Victoria Island or its immediate surrounding areas and can conveniently commute to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.
- Monitor outstanding supplier balances and follow up on payment obligations.
- Process supplier invoices, payment requests, and other accounts payable transactions accurately and promptly.
- Support month-end closing and accounts reconciliation.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment schedules and ensure payments are processed in line with approved procedures.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Good understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
Must currently reside within close proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
Minimum of 1–3 years' relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
