Job Title: Facility Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Summary
The role ensures the facilities remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and efficiently managed.
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Officer to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of rooms and apartments within a residential estate in Ikoyi.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to residents' maintenance requests and resolve facility-related issues promptly.
- Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee daily facility operations, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contracts, and vendor engagements.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's / HND in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in facility management, preferably within residential properties or serviced apartments.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of building maintenance and estate operations.
