We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and analytical Farm Administrative Officer to support the effective administration and day-to-day operations of our farm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate farm and employee records, coordinating administrative activities, preparing reports, supporting field operations, and providing reliable data and administrative information to the Farm Manager and Management.

Key Responsibilties

Maintain employee and farm documentation and ensure records are properly filed and updated.

Maintain records of farm inputs, materials, equipment, fuel, tools, and other resources.

Collect, organise, and analyse farm and workforce data for management reporting.

Coordinate communication between farm management, field supervisors, workers, HR, and the head office.

Maintain accurate records of farm workers' attendance, leave, overtime, and daily activities.

Support the Farm Manager and supervisors with administrative and reporting requirements.

Assist with procurement requests, logistics, inventory records, and general farm administration.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of company and employee information.

Monitor and reconcile records relating to farm supplies and resource usage.

Monitor staff welfare, accommodation, transportation, and other administrative needs at the farm.

Coordinate administrative activities at the farm and ensure proper documentation of farm operations.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly farm administrative reports.

Identify discrepancies or gaps in records and follow up with relevant supervisors for resolution.

Support other administrative activities required for the smooth operation of the farm.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with field workers and supervisors.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting will be an added advantage.
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, charts, and data validation.
  • Must be comfortable working in a farm/field environment.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during critical farming activities when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in data.
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2–4 years' relevant experience in administration, data analysis, farm administration, or a similar role.
