The Borough Lagos is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our boutique hotel and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other departments to ensure strong operational and financial controls.
- Provide regular reports and performance updates to the Managing Director/Owner.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, partnerships, events, and increased revenue.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and development of employees in collaboration with HR.
- Monitor hotel and restaurant KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and service standards.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, procurement, inventory, and overall cost control.
- Manage guest complaints and ensure timely and effective service recovery.
- Maintain high standards of guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, and service delivery.
- Lead and manage department heads and operational teams, driving accountability and high performance.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, occupancy, and restaurant performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
