Role Summary
The Finance and Accounts Officer manages the company’s financial records, booking payments, expenses, payroll support and financial reporting.
Key Accountabilities
- Confirm and record payments received for bookings.
- Reconcile booking records with bank transactions.
- Monitor outstanding balances and security deposits.
- Maintain records of income, expenses, suppliers and contractors.
- Review invoices, receipts and payment requests.
- Manage petty cash and supporting documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Support payroll preparation.
- Maintain employee and supplier payment records.
- Monitor operational and utility expenses.
- Maintain records of furniture, appliances and other company assets.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audits and tax documentation.
- Report unusual transactions or suspected financial irregularities.
Requirements
HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
At least two years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong Excel, bookkeeping and reconciliation skills.
Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
