We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)
Job Role
Oversee transaction reconciliation and settlement processes and ensure outstanding discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
Monitor FX risks and work with treasury partners to manage exchange rates and settlement costs.
Manage multi-currency cash positions and account reconciliations, ensuring transaction records are accurate and complete.
Identify financial risks, process gaps, and opportunities to improve financial efficiency and controls.
Design and maintain strong financial controls around transaction processing, settlement, revenue recognition, and payments.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling across business lines and currencies.
Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and profitability and provide insights to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations across operating jurisdictions.
Work with Compliance, Product, and Operations teams on financial controls, pricing, regulatory requirements, and business growth.
Oversee liquidity and cash management across partner banks, PSPs, and settlement accounts.
Coordinate tax compliance, statutory filings, and internal and external audits.
Support fundraising, investor reporting, financial due diligence, and preparation of financial information for investors and partners.
Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close process and ensure accurate and timely management accounts.
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cross-border payment flows, FX, and settlement mechanics
- Solid grounding in IFRS and
Experience
managing statutory audits
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
6–9 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 - 5 years in fintech, payments, or financial services.

Professional certification in ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is
