Officially launched in December 2025 at the Ikoyi Golf Club, Lagos, the platform was established by Nigerian entrepreneur Mrs. Funke Otti alongside Vice Chairman Dr. Mohammed K. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Manager / Accountant
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Purpose
The Finance Manager / Accountant holds complete end-to-end accountability for the financial health, strategic financial management, corporate accounting, internal control framework, and regulatory reporting of the Company.
The role bridges operational accounting, high-level financial strategy, treasury coordination, capital management, and tax planning to ensure long-term profitability, liquidity resilience, statutory compliance, and organizational scale.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Management & Capital Operations:
Monitor capital adequacy, leverage ratios, and equity/debt structures; collaborate with Executive Management and Treasury on debt financing, capital raising, and investor relations.
Conduct financial due diligence, ROI assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations for new product launches, technology investments, and strategic expansions.
Formulate and execute short- and long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives; provide executive management and the Board with strategic financial advice, growth modeling, and scenario analyses.
Comprehensive Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations:
Direct daily finance operations, including vendor accounts payable, loan collection clearing, payroll accounting, staff advances, and expense management.
Oversee the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close process; produce complete, audit-ready financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Statement of Changes in Equity) compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Develop and present dynamic monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting dashboards, board financial packs, and key performance metric (KPI) breakdowns.
Maintain rigorous general ledger controls, trial balance accuracy, multi-bank reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and loan loss provisioning accounting.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Performance:
Lead the company-wide annual budget formulation process, operationalizing target departmental allocations, OPEX/CAPEX projections, and revenue targets.
Institute aggressive cost control measures, monitor expenditure thresholds, and optimize operational spend across business units.
Perform continuous variance analysis against budgets, analyze departmental and product-level profitability, and recommend corrective interventions.
Tax Strategy, Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:
Lead and coordinate external financial audits, tax audits, and regulatory financial examinations, ensuring zero non-compliance penalties.
Oversee full tax planning and management, ensuring accurate computation and timely remittance of Companies Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), PAYE, and Tertiary Education Tax.
Ensure 100% compliance with financial sector regulations (CBN, FIRS, LIRS, NIPC, etc.) by preparing and submitting all mandatory periodic financial returns.
Internal Controls, Risk Management & Systems:
Design, implement, and audit robust internal financial control policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and delegation-of-authority frameworks to safeguard assets and eliminate fraud risks.
Drive the optimization and implementation of Accounting ERP systems, automated financial reporting tools, and core banking finance integrations.
Partner closely with the Treasury Officer on working capital management, liquidity buffer verification, and loan disbursement funding schedules.
Requirements
- General Education:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant business discipline.
- Professional Qualification:
- Fully chartered accountant (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or recognized international equivalent) is mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership/managerial position within financial services, fintech, or commercial banking.
Expert knowledge of IFRS standards, Nigerian tax regulations, regulatory reporting mandates, financial modeling, and ERP accounting systems.
Key Competencies:
Uncompromising ethical standards, discretion, and financial stewardship.
Proven capacity to translate complex numerical data into strategic business insights.
Strong leadership skills to mentor, manage, and scale the finance and accounting team.
Exceptional board-level presentation, written, and stakeholder management skills.
