Job Summary
To manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, enforce internal controls, and maintain regulatory compliance and preference will be given to candidates with experience in the oil and gas service industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Monitor departmental budgets.
- Monitor project profitability.
- Analyze cost trends and recommend improvements.
- Tax & Compliance:
- Coordinate PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, NSITF, ITF, and other statutory remittances.
- Ensure timely tax filings.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow forecasts.
- Support treasury operations.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Audit & Internal Control:
- Implement financial controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Review accounting records for accuracy.
- Team Supervision:
- Review accounting entries and reconciliations.
