Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization to ensure the highest level of financial integrity and compliance.
The Finance Officer will be tasked with overseeing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting budgeting and reporting processes.
Key Duties And
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and reconciliations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial activities and support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support operational objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads.
- Ensure 100% compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
Requirements
Education
and Work
Experience
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive
in finance or accounting roles.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Skills And Competencies:
Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
