Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
As the Financial Accountant, you will support the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, performing reconciliations, and managing payables, receivables, and other accounting activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, collections, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support general financial operations, including expense tracking, documentation, and month-end/year-end accounting activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review. Perform regular bank, account, and transaction reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure transactions are properly recorded in line with accounting principles.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures while providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.
Requirements
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, payables, and receivables.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, analytical, and organizational skills.
Relevant practical experience in accounting and finance.
Relevant professional qualifications or certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Salary: N500,000 – N600,000 Monthly.
