Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and investment-related decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, costs, profitability, and valuation.
- Evaluate business performance, pricing, and cost structures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis.
- Assist with investment appraisals, ROI analysis, and business case development.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and variances.
- Handle commercial paper and bond issuance processes.
- Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Support M&A analysis, capital allocation, and pricing strategy where required.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other teams to gather data and align financial goals.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable tertiary institution.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
2–5 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
MBA (Finance), ACCA, CFA, or ACA is an added advantage.
Proficiency in ERP/BI tools such as SAP, Power BI, or Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Salary: Open to negotiation
