Our Client seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the company's financial control environment and provide strong financial leadership across its growing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure tax and statutory compliance.
- Oversee receivables, project profitability and financial planning.
- Oversee payment approvals, financial controls and cash flow.
- Lead monthly and year-end financial close and management reporting.
- Build and lead the Finance team within the existing six-role structure.
- Track construction/project spend, budgets, BOQ variances and cost-to-complete.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory compliance.
- Lagos-based and willing to work on-site and visit projects regularly.
- Minimum of 6 years' finance experience, with at least 2years in a Controller, Finance Manager or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar accounting software.
Experience
in real estate, construction or project-based accounting.
ICAN or ACCA qualified.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
