Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with seating and provide menus when required.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of tables and the dining area.
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle customer requests and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Assist with maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Work closely with kitchen, bar, cashier, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support other restaurant activities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent.
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Well-groomed, polite, and professional.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts.
Good team player with a positive attitude.
