We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head, Mines Operation to lead and manage large-scale mining activities in a highly productive and safety-conscious environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective extraction of raw materials while meeting production targets, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
This position requires a strategic mining professional with extensive operational leadership experience, strong technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing complex mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, technicians, operators, and contractors.
- Monitor mining performance against approved budgets, production targets, and operational KPIs.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve mine performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across mining operations.
- Coordinate mining activities, including drilling, blasting, excavation, haulage, and material handling operations.
- Prepare and present operational, performance, and production reports to executive management.
- Ensure continuous supply of raw materials to meet plant production
