Key Responsibilities
- Internal Audit:
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
- Develop and implement the annual audit plan.
- Conduct financial, operational and project audits.
- Financial & Project Audit:
- Review financial transactions, budgets and expenditures.
- Identify financial leakages and unauthorised transactions.
- Check property sales, rental income and project profitability.
- Audit property development projects, construction costs and contractor payments.
- Risk & Compliance:
- Review land acquisition, property documentation and government approvals.
- Identify financial, operational and legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Fraud & Investigation:
- Review procurement, vendor and contractor transactions.
- Detect and investigate suspected fraud and financial irregularities.
- Report significant findings to Management and the Board Audit Committee.
- Reporting:
- Highlight major risks, findings and recommendations.
- Prepare clear audit reports for Management and the Board.
- Monitor the closure of audit issues.
- Team Management:
- Set performance targets and develop team members.
- Lead and supervise the internal audit team.
- Promote integrity, accountability and professional standards.
