Summary
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead revenue and transaction-volume growth in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate must have a strong B2B sales background, an established network of businesses and decision-makers, and demonstrable
Experience
acquiring high-value accounts.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can personally generate substantial transaction volumes while building and leading an effective sales function.

A minimum of five years’ relevant
in B2B sales, business development, relationship management or sales leadership.
Demonstrable
meeting substantial sales or transaction-volume targets.
An established network of businesses and decision-makers that can potentially be converted into clients.
Ability to sell directly while building and leading a high-performing sales team.
Preference will be given to candidates with
in any of the following:
Banking and financial services.
Fintech.
B2B financial products and services.
Payments or cross-border payments.
Import and export.
International trade.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and acquire high-value businesses with recurring international payment requirements.
- Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy in Nigeria.
- Monitor sales activity, customer conversion, transaction volumes and account performance.
- Build, guide and assess the wider sales team while remaining accountable for personally generated business.
- Develop relationships with business owners, importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and other companies involved in international trade.
- Promote the company’s cross-border payment solutions to businesses that pay overseas suppliers and beneficiaries.
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance and Customer Support to facilitate customer onboarding and transaction completion.
- Provide regular pipeline, sales performance and market reports to management.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified business clients.
- Develop prospecting channels through referrals, existing networks, telephone calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, physical meetings, partnerships and industry relationships.
- Personally originate, negotiate and close strategic and high-value accounts.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline development, sales forecasting, conversion management and performance management.
