Overview
The Head of Trade Services will lead and oversee all trade-related operations within the Dangote Cement Plc, ensuring smooth execution of import, export and domestic trade activities.
This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of international trade regulations, and the ability to optimize processes that support the company’s supply chain and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- To Collaborate with senior management to support business growth through efficient trade operations.
- Develop and implement trade services strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Trade Services team to achieve operational excellence.
- Trade Operations Management:
- Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across borders.
- Oversee import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade laws.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Implement risk management practices to minimize exposure in global trade.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all trade transactions.
- Process Optimization:
