Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Rumuobiokani, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Job Summary
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history lessons to secondary school students, helping them understand historical events, cultures, and their relevance to contemporary society.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and track students’ academic progress.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO etc).
- Develop lesson notes, teaching aids, and assessment materials.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the required curriculum given by the school.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and world history.
- 2+ years proven experience as a History Teacher.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management skills.
- B.Ed, B.A (History), or related field.
