Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high guest-service standards, monitoring operational performance, controlling costs and ensuring compliance with established hotel policies and industry standards.
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure efficient service delivery across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with relevant teams to improve occupancy, revenue generation, customer retention and overall hotel performance.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to management.
- Assist in developing and implementing operational budgets and cost-control measures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, facilities, public areas and service areas to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor hotel supplies, equipment and inventory to minimise wastage and unnecessary expenditure.
- Maintain professional relationships with guests, employees, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Handle guest complaints, concerns and escalated service issues professionally and promptly.
- Oversee room reservations, check-ins, check-outs, occupancy and overall guest experience.
- Supervise hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other operational units.
- Supervise, coordinate and evaluate hotel staff to ensure productivity and adherence to operational standards.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of hotel staff.
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure smooth coordination across all departments.
- Ensure the hotel maintains appropriate standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, security and maintenance.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline and compliance with hotel policies.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement measures to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, hygiene, regulatory and hospitality requirements.
- Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, operational costs and other key performance indicators.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors and external service providers where required.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Qualifications and
Experience
Bachelor's Degree, HND, or, OND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
High level of professionalism, integrity and customer-service orientation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good understanding of cost control, inventory management and basic financial management.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations and hospitality standards.

in hotel or hospitality operations, with previous supervisory or managerial experience.
Ability to work under pressure and manage operational challenges effectively.

Work Arrangement:
The successful candidate must be able to work on-site at the assigned "Our Client" location in Berger or Abule Egba, Lagos. Working days, hours, probation terms, and any branch rotation will be confirmed in the employment offer.
