Job Summary
We are seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive recruitment and performance management as core priorities, while providing broader HR support across employee relations and people operations.
The role also supports employee relations, HR administration, and culture-building, contributing to SCALE's overall growth.
The HRBP will be primarily responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment across the business, including high-volume, multi-location hiring, and for driving SCALE's performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning:
- Build local and digital sourcing channels, referral networks and candidate pipelines; use structured assessments to test role capability, judgment and fit.
- Partner with hiring managers on selection decisions, offers, onboarding and early retention; track time to fill, offer acceptance, hiring quality, attrition and source effectiveness.
- Translate expansion plans and operating targets into hiring forecasts, role profiles, staffing plans, and recruitment priorities for field and central teams.
- Coordinate hiring waves and deployment so new territories have adequate coverage, clear reporting lines, and managers equipped to support new hires.
- Own end-to-end recruitment for roles, including ABMs, TSRs, TSSs, CRLs, as well as selected commercial, risk, finance, operations and technology roles.
- Performance Management and Productivity:
- Use people and operating data to identify productivity gaps by role, team, park and territory, and work with managers on practical improvement actions.
- Monitor new-hire ramp-up, retention and output; recommend changes to hiring profiles, onboarding or team structure when results fall short.
- Partner with leaders to define measurable objectives and role scorecards linked to park coverage/ activation, collections, portfolio quality, customer service, and other applicable business outcomes.
- Run regular check-ins and formal review cycles; support consistent calibration, evidence-based feedback, recognition and fair performance decisions.
- Coach managers on timely feedback, performance improvement plans and follow-through, with accurate documentation and appropriate escalation.
- Business Partnership and People Operations:
- Contribute to employee engagement and culture-building activities.
- Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous development and responsible treatment of employees across distributed teams.
- Handle employee relations matters promptly and fairly, including grievances and disciplinary processes, in line with company policy and applicable law.
- Maintain reliable employee records, reporting and HR systems; provide regular hiring, headcount, attrition and performance insights to the Head of People Operations.
- Coordinate role-specific onboarding and development with operational leaders, including training on products, processes, conduct and performance expectations.
- Serve as the people partner to business and field leaders, advising on workforce capacity, manager capability, engagement and organizational changes.

Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of HR/People Operations experience, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and performance management.
