Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: : Port Harcourt, Rivers
Main Functions
Provide site-based HSE supervision for infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring contractors and subcontractors comply with company HSE requirements, procedures, permits, risk assessments, and safety standards.
Tasks and
Responsibilities
- Monitor emergency preparedness, drills, first-aid facilities, and site safety requirements.
- Monitor contractor/subcontractor compliance with approved HSE plans and procedures.
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and initiate STOP CARD interventions.
- Participate in HSE meetings, audits, inspections, and safety studies.
- Conduct HSE inductions and promote safety awareness among project personnel and contractors.
- Support incident/accident investigations and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure valid Permit to Work (PTW) is in place before site activities.
- Conduct site HSE inspections, audits, surveillance, and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, JRA, and HSE documentation.
- Maintain anomaly/action-tracking records and prepare HSE performance reports.

Requirements
Experience
with HSE inspections, audits, incident investigation, emergency drills, and corrective-action tracking.
Oil & Gas
is required/preferred, particularly in project/construction HSE supervision.
Recognized HSE qualification/certification.
Proactive, safety-conscious, disciplined, and able to work effectively with contractors and project teams.
0–2 years’ relevant
in Oil & Gas production projects, construction, infrastructure, or comparable industrial environments.
Good communication, planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
B.Sc. or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
