Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our manufacturing facilities and administrative offices.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial relations, factory workforce management, recruitment, performance management, HR compliance, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, Factory/HSE regulations, and company policies.
- Work with Finance/Payroll to ensure accurate salary processing and statutory deductions including PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF.
- Develop and manage KPIs, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and talent development programs.
- Maintain employee records, HR policies, employee handbook, leave and attendance systems, and HR documentation.
- Oversee factory workforce management, including attendance, shifts, overtime, casual workers, and employee welfare.
- Manage employee and industrial relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, union relations, and workforce welfare.
- Support change management, organizational development, and workforce requirements during business/plant expansion.
- Advise management on workforce planning, compensation, organizational structure, employee retention, and HR strategy.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for factory, technical, sales, R&D, and administrative roles.
Requirements
6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/senior HR role.
CIPM certification is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience managing factory/blue-collar workforce and industrial relations.
Strong experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Plastics, Manufacturing, or a similar factory environment.
Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
