Job Summary
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with split, cassette, and ducted AC systems and be capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of Direct Expansion (DX) air-conditioning systems within a facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair split, cassette, and ducted AC systems.
- Inspect, clean, and repair condensate drainage systems.
- *Replace and repair compressors, motors, PCBs, sensors, capacitors, and other AC components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling, electrical, refrigeration, and control-system faults.
- Carry out copper pipe installation, brazing, repair, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of AC units.
- Check and record refrigerant pressure, voltage, current, and temperature readings.
- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and system evacuation.
Requirements
Technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
Ability to use basic HVAC tools and testing instruments, including gauges, multimeters, and clamp meters.
VRV/VRF experience is an added advantage.
2–3 years of hands-on experience working with DX air-conditioning systems in a commercial, residential, or facility environment.
Practical experience with refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, brazing, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
Good knowledge of refrigeration and electrical principles related to AC systems.
Salary: N300,000 - N400,000 monthly (Open).
